Delete Your Data

Your goals, tasks, habits, books, and expenses live on your device (and optionally in your own Google Drive), so deleting them is entirely in your control. Shared Tasks (Circle) is the one exception, since it needs a server to sync between connected people, so a separate section below covers how to delete that data too.

Delete individual items

Swipe on any goal, task, habit, book, reading log, or expense to reveal a delete option. This removes just that item.

Delete everything at once

Open the app, go to Profile, scroll to the Danger Zone section, and tap Delete All Data. After you confirm, this permanently deletes every goal, task, habit, book, reading log, and expense you've tracked. Your profile settings (name, photo, currency, System Lock) aren't tracked content and are left alone, and neither a Google Drive backup nor your Shared Tasks (Circle) data is affected (see below for those).

Delete your Google Drive backup

If you've ever turned on Google Drive backup, remove it with either of these:

In the app: Profile → Google Drive Backup → Delete Backup.
From your Google Account: visit myaccount.google.com/permissions, find Lifegram, and remove its access. This immediately deletes the hidden backup data along with it, since it only ever existed because Lifegram had permission to write there.

Delete your Shared Tasks (Circle) data

Disconnecting from someone (Circle → select a connection → Disconnect) removes the connection between you, but it does not delete your profile or the shared task history you built together. That's intentional, so disconnecting on your end doesn't erase shared history the other person still has.

There's currently no in-app button to fully delete your Circle profile, so if you want it gone entirely, email support@ashtecapps.com from the same Google account you used to sign in, and ask us to delete your Shared Tasks data. That covers your profile (display name, email, avatar reference), your connection code and connections list, your push-notification token, and the shared tasks tied to your account. We'll confirm and complete it within 30 days.

Delete everything by uninstalling

Uninstalling Lifegram removes the app and its entire local database from your device, the same as uninstalling any other app. This does not remove a Google Drive backup or your Shared Tasks (Circle) data on our servers, since both are designed to survive a reinstall. Use the methods above if you want those gone too.
